Multan Sultans spinner Usama Mir bowled brilliantly to outplay Shahid Afridi in match 14 of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9 against Lahore Qalandars. Defeated by a clear margin of runs, after the defeat Qalandar’s chances of reaching the playoffs have also decreased.
Osama Mir, while playing for Multan Sultans in the said match, showed a brilliant bowling performance and guided 6 players to the pavilion for 40 runs in his quota of 4 overs.
With his match-winning performance, Usama Mir surpassed superstar all-rounder Shahid Afridi in the record books, becoming the best bowler in an innings in the history of PSL.
Before him, this record was held by Shahid Afridi, he dismissed 5 players of Quetta Gladiators by giving 7 runs while playing for Peshawar Zalmi in 2018.
The best bowling record in PSL belongs to Ravi Bopara, he took 6 wickets by giving 16 runs against Lahore Qalandars while playing for Karachi Kings. Apart from him, Faheem Ashraf and Umar Gul also took 6 wickets. They are ranked second and third respectively in this list.
