The number of patients with diarrhea and pneumonia is increasing rapidly in the hospitals of Gwadar Sarbandan.
According to reports, after the recent heavy rains in Gwadar and its adjoining areas, water drainage could not be done in most of the affected areas.
Due to which various diseases including diarrhea and pneumonia started spreading in the city.
The officials of the health department also say that due to improper sewerage system after the rains, rainwater and drain water have affected the water supply lines in many places, while the use of contaminated water has played a very important role in the spread of diseases.
It should be remembered that Gwadar was declared a disaster area due to heavy rains in recent days. Moreover, seven different teams have been formed by the administration of GDA Indus Hospital along with Pakistan Army and Pakistan Navy after the severe flood situation.
And still medical assistance is being given to the victims in different areas of Gwadar Sarbandan.
Medical experts and citizens say that if effective measures are not taken on an emergency basis, there is a fear of widespread epidemics in Gwadar district, which is severely affected by rains.
