All 35 fishermen who drowned in a boat accident in the open sea near Hijamuru Creek have been rescued.
According to Coastal Media Center spokesman Ibrahim Haidari Kamal Shah, the launch boat had left Ibrahim Haidari to hunt for small fish, but due to strong winds, high waves overturned the Al-Asad boat.
The spokesman said that the incident happened during hunting by throwing the net in the wrong direction, the fishermen who fell into the water suffered minor injuries and scratches.
According to Nasir Buneri, Security Incharge, Fishermen’s Cooperative Society, the staff of the Fishermen’s Cooperative Society is on the spot. Hajamaru Creek is the middle area between Karachi and Thatta, which is a five-hour drive away.
