The Department of Railways has postponed the implementation of the decision to restore the Nawab Akbar Bugti Express from Quetta to Lahore.
According to the Railway Department officials, on the occasion of the inauguration of Bolan Express from Quetta to Karachi in December last year, it was announced to restore Nawab Akbar Bugti Express to Lahore from March 23.
In this regard, former Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar from Balochistan gave orders to the Railway Department to restore the Nawab Akbar Bugti Express.
However, after the resignation of Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, the Railways ignored his directive and did not include the timetable of Nawab Akbar Bugti Express in the train schedule effective from March 15.
