The Meteorological Department has predicted more rains in most parts of the country including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Upper Punjab and snowfall in mountainous areas.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the weather will remain cold and dry in most parts of the country, while there is a possibility of rain in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, while the weather will remain cold and partly cloudy in the federal capital Islamabad.

According to the report, a western weather system has entered most of the areas of Balochistan, according to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), there was heavy rain with strong winds in North-West and South Balochistan.

Snowfall also occurred in mountainous areas including Ziarat, Toba Achakzai, Kan Mehtarzai, Levies officials say that traffic on the communication roads has been affected due to snowfall in the upper areas.
Deputy Commissioner Athar Abbas said that the road clearance operation is going on with bulldozers to clear the snow from the connecting roads, land connections with the city of the upper areas have been restored.
On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted rains in Karachi from March 9 to 12, which is likely to increase the severity of the cold. Due to the winds, the temperature is expected to drop, while the wind speed can reach 40 km during most of the day.
According to the Department of Meteorology, another western system will enter Pakistan through Balochistan on March 9. The western system on March 9 may also spread to rural Sindh including Karachi.
