MQM will support Asif Zardari for the post of President of Pakistan

The effort of Muslim League (N) to bring MQM and Pakistan People’s Party closer has proved fruitful.

In the meeting of the coordination committee on Tuesday, the most important leader of PPP and former president Asif Ali Zardari’s contact with MQM chief Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui was discussed.

In the meeting of the communication committee, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui informed about the telephone communication of Asif Ali Zardari.

After which it was decided to support Asif Zardari in the presidential election and the MQM agreed to vote for him for the presidential election.

Cooperation has also been assured. It should be clear that Asif Ali Zardari is the former president of Pakistan who was the president of Pakistan from 2008 to 2013.

He was the first president to complete his term in office. He has been the de facto leader of the PPP since the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto in December 2007.

His son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is also playing a prominent role as the head of the party.
