Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed her happiness in meeting the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shahr Bano Naqvi who saved a woman from an angry mob in Lahore, praising her bravery that ASP Shahr Bano has given young officers Set an example of bravery and courage.
On the occasion of the meeting, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif praised ASP Shahr Bano Naqvi for showing courage in the Achhra incident. Maryam Nawaz Sharif described ASP Shahr Bano Naqvi as a role model for young officers. Maryam Nawaz Sharif hugged and patted ASP Syeda Shahr Bano Naqvi. Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, IG Punjab Police, CCPO Lahore, SSP Law and Order were also present in the meeting.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Shahr Bano informed about the details of the incident. He informed about the steps taken about the minority community, transgenders. He also informed about animal rescue centers organized by police in Lahore, Gujranwala and Rawalpindi.
Shahr Bano expressed her desire that the Chief Minister should establish the Protection Center and the Methaq Center, to which Maryam Nawaz said that the protection of the vulnerable sections of the society is one of my priorities.
