A meeting was held in Karachi under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on price control during Ramadan in which Mayor Karachi, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, IG Police, Secretary Finance, Additional IG Police, Commissioner Karachi and Other concerned officers participated. Commissioners and DIGs of other divisions participated in the meeting through video link.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, while announcing the Ramadan package of Rs 22.5 billion, approved giving Rs 5000 in cash to 60 percent of the province’s population in Ramadan.
The Chief Minister of Sindh said that it has been decided to give relief to 4.5 million families with minimum income in Ramadan. It was told in the meeting that the minimum monthly salary in the province is 34000 rupees while the family earning 32000 rupees per month is 60% of the population. are
In the meeting, it was also decided to crack down on hoarders and profiteers from today. In this context, the Chief Minister of Sindh instructed the commissioner to start crackdown on hoarders and profiteers in Karachi from today. In the rest of the divisions of the province, the commissioners should start cracking down on profiteers and hoarders in the respective districts. Commissioner Karachi said that we have released the price list of food items.
