Country's first 'AI robot' introduced in Indian school

Kerala: A school in India has introduced AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology to revolutionize the teaching process.

This AI robot school called Iris, introduced in Thirunanthampuram, Kerala, India, has been developed in partnership with MakerLabs Edutech and is possibly the first humanoid robot teacher in the state and the entire country. This innovation based on artificial intelligence. A project of Laduval Thingal Charitable Trust has been introduced at TCT Higher Secondary School. Ayers is part of the Atal Tinkering Lab project. This project was introduced by NITI Aayog in 2021 with the aim of promoting extra-curricular activities in schools.

Iris is capable of answering complex questions related to a variety of subjects, in addition to featuring voice assistance (software that performs tasks by listening to the voice) and interactive learning experiences. While wheels are also installed in Iris for movement from one place to another.

This initiative introduced by Kerala is a clear change in the educational landscape of the state. Iris has the ability to provide different learning styles and make education more interesting for students.
