The new academic year has begun in the cold regions of Balochistan, schools will open in 20 districts of the province from today.
In the admission campaign of the new academic year, the target of admission of more than two and a half lakh new children has been set.
The officials of the education department say that at the beginning of the new academic session this year, the admission campaign under the title of ‘Ao Bachu Skool Chale’ is being started in the schools of Balochistan, in which 2 lakh 69 thousand 143 new children will be admitted to the schools.
According to the officials, free books will be provided to the students of 1st to 12th class across Balochistan, the work of printing the books is almost complete.
It may be noted that schools were closed on December 16 for winter vacation in Balochistan.
