Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that the development of Balochistan is the success of Pakistan, he will continue the journey of peace and prosperity together with the people, agriculture is important in the country’s development, the Pakistan Army will continue to support the Green Pakistan Initiative. According to the Department of Army Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir visited Awaran district of Balochistan, Corps Commander Balochistan received the Army Chief and briefed him about the security situation.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir also interacted with the families of martyrs, local elders and farmers during his visit. The Army Chief was also briefed about the efforts made for socio-economic development of Pakistan Army.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir was also briefed regarding the actions taken by the Pakistan Army regarding social, economic and agricultural development in the province.
Addressing the elders and youths on this occasion, the Army Chief said that agricultural facilities, loans, seeds, fertilizers will be provided to the farmers on easy terms, solar tube wells and services of agricultural experts will also be provided to the farmers. They will also be given guidance for making them partners in the country’s development and farming. General Asim Munir has said that the Pakistan Army will continue the process of development and assistance in Balochistan together with the civil administration.
The Army Chief also appreciated the establishment of another cadet college for the people of Balochistan. Army Chief General Asim Munir inaugurated the Cadet College Awaran and also met the teachers and students of the college. The Army Chief in his address further said that he is proud of the brave people of Balochistan, these brave men stood firm in every difficulty, the armed forces and law enforcement agencies will continue the journey of peace and prosperity together with the people. The chief further said that Pakistan Army will stand by the side of the martyrs in paying homage, providing security and welfare. The army chief also paid great tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs.
