Karachi: Zakat will be deducted in the year 2024 on how much money is in the account? Syllabus released.
The Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Security has issued a notification for the zakat schedule for 2024, zakat will be applicable on savings accounts with a balance of Rs 1 lakh 35 thousand 179 or more.
The Ministry has clarified that Zakat will be deducted from Savings Account and Profit and Loss Account, and this deduction will be done on 1st of Ramadan.
According to the notification, zakat will not be deducted from savings accounts with a balance of less than Rs 1 lakh 35 thousand 179.
