Famous Indian film producer arrested in drug trafficking worth 2 thousand crores

The well-known Indian South Indian film producer Jafar Sadiq has been arrested on the charge of smuggling drugs worth Rs. 2 Thousand crores.

According to Indian media, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) was looking for producer Jafar Sadiq for a long time and they were also collecting evidence against him.

And finally on March 9 he was arrested. According to NCB, Jafar Sadiq is the “mastermind” of the drug smuggling network from India to Australia and New Zealand.

And he has smuggled drugs worth 2000 crore Indian rupees to Australia and New Zealand.

According to the spokesman of the Narcotics Control Bureau, accused Jafar Sadiq sent 3500 kg of ephedrine to foreign countries more than 45 times, the producer was arrested at that time.

When the NCB recovered 36 kg of drugs worth Rs 180 crore from two train passengers in Chennai, which were being smuggled from India to Sri Lanka.

Drugs exported from India include ice. Jafar Sadiq has produced four films so far, and his fourth film is slated to release this month.

Jafar Sadiq is considered to be an important figure in the Indian South film industry.
