The nineteen-member federal cabinet took oath.

Pakistan’s newly elected 19-member cabinet has taken oath in the President’s House.

The oath-taking ceremony was held in the President’s House, the ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran.

Later, President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath to the members of the new federal cabinet, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and other members of the assembly also participated in the ceremony.

Those who took the oath include Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Shaza Fatima, Mohsin Naqvi, Ameer Makam, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Riaz Pirzada, Rana Tanveer and Jam Kamal.

Owais Leghari, Attaullah Tarar, Qaiser Sheikh, Ishaq Dar, Mossadegh Malik, Muhammad Aurangzeb and Ahad Cheema also took oath from the President while Azam Nazir Tarar and Shaza Fatima are also among those who took oath.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has recommended 19 names to President Asif Ali Zardari for appointment. On the other hand, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also called the first meeting of the federal cabinet this evening.
