More demands from the government for the new IMF program
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has demanded more steps from the government for the new program.
While the government has assured the IMF to freeze the revolving loans of electricity and gas.
According to the details, the IMF has also demanded concrete measures from the government to end the theft of electricity and gas.
While according to reliable sources, the IMF has also asked the government for a time frame to give the institutions to the private sector.
Apart from this, the IMF has also advised the government to outsource electricity bill collection in areas with high losses.
In addition, the IMF has also requested to stop the supply of local gas to the Captive Power Plants.
According to the sources, the IMF has also demanded to run 4 large plants in the government sector at full capacity while IMF also requires speedy completion of digitisation.

Besides, IMF was also briefed on the procedure to collect full tax from agriculture, shops and real estate.
