PSL 9: Multan Sultans qualified for the final by defeating Peshawar Zalmi

In the qualifier match of Pakistan Super League Season 9, Multan Sultans qualified for the final by defeating Peshawar Zalmi.

According to details, in the match played at National Bank Cricket Stadium, Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bat first and gave Multan Sultans a target of 147 runs to win.

In pursuit of the target, Multan Sultans’ innings was started by Yasir Khan and Mohammad Rizwan, but in the 8th over, Mohammad Rizwan got out after scoring 15 runs on a total score of 61.

Multan’s second wicket fell to Yasir Khan who scored 54 runs off 37 balls at a total score of 84 runs. Multan Sultans achieved the set target in the nineteenth over.

Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi batted first and scored 146 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Peshawar Zalmi’s innings was started by Saeem Ayub and Babar Azam, but Saeem Ayub got out after scoring only 1 run.

On the total score of the account, Mohammad Haris continued on 22 runs, after which Haseebullah was also dismissed on the total score of 57 after scoring only 3 runs.

In the fourteenth over, Babar Azam lost his courage after scoring 46 runs. Tom Koehler scored 24 and Rowman Powell scored 12 runs. Paul Walter and Luke Wood scored 14 and 14 not out.
