Beginning of the second phase of deportation of illegal Afghans

The federal interior ministry has initiated the second phase to deport the Afghan citizen card holders to the Punjab government from April 15.

And strict orders have also been issued in this regard. Secretary Punjab Noorul Amin and other senior officials of the Interior Department participated.

It has been learned from reliable sources that the list of Afghan Citizen Card Holders (ACC) will be provided to Punjab by the federal government which will be shared with the police and other law enforcement agencies.

Sources said that as illegal foreigners and Afghan nationals were arrested and kept in holding centres established in the districts.

And then deported, ACC card holders will also be asked to return to Afghanistan voluntarily first.

After which they will be arrested and deported. Sources say that the data of Afghan citizen card holders is available with the federal government.

Due to which the difficulties faced in the past in tracing illegal persons will no longer exist.

Sources said that immediately after the completion of phase two of the deportation of foreigners, a briefing was also given regarding the initiation of phase three in which Afghan POR (Proof of Residence) card holders will be deported.

Sources further said that more than 400,000 illegal foreign Afghans have been deported so far.
