Najaf Hameed, elder brother of former DGISI General (Retd) Faiz Hameed, arrested
The anti-bribery department has arrested Najaf Hameed from Rawalpindi court.
Former Tehsildar Najaf Hameed has been arrested in a corruption case.
He was wanted by the Anti-Bribery Department in a case and had already posted bail before arrest.
However, the case against Najaf Hameed was heard. He reached the court late.
So, the court rejected his request for interim bail. Anti-bribery department staff took Najaf Hameed into custody and left for Chakwal.
He will be produced in court tomorrow for physical remand.
It should be noted that Najaf Hameed is the elder brother of former DGISI General Retired Faiz Hameed.
Anti-corruption department Chakwal has registered a case against him under fraud section 420.468 and 471.
