The Australian Cricket Board has cancelled the Afghanistan tour once again
Cricket Australia has postponed the series of three T20 matches between Afghanistan and Australia.
This series was scheduled in August this year. However, now the Australian Cricket Board has said in a statement that we have postponed the mutual series against Afghanistan.
According to Cricket Australia, they have been in contact with their government over the past 12 months regarding the situation in Afghanistan.
It should be noted that Cricket Australia cited “clear human rights violations” for women and girls in Afghanistan after canceling the scheduled T20 series in August.
This is the third time CA has banned the ICC tournament. CA has imposed its will on the series against Afghanistan.
It should be noted that this last decision has provoked anger among other Afghan players, including Afghanistan’s star player Rashid Khan, who has threatened not to return to the tournament.
However, this threat was later withdrawn by the players.
