Lack of interest of companies on the offer to lease Islamabad Airport
Companies are showing serious disinterest in outsourcing the airport of the federal capital.
Perhaps considering this, the government has also extended the tender date.
According to confirmed reports, due to lack of interest in outsourcing Islamabad Airport, Civil Aviation Authority has extended the tender date by 2 months.
After which the bid date has now been fixed on May 15, 2024.
According to the sources, sufficient results could not be obtained for the outsourcing of Islamabad Airport. On which the Civil Aviation Authority issued a new order to extend the tender date.
It should be clear that the government is keen to collect billions of funds through the outsourcing of Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore airports.
And in this regard, applications are being sought from domestic and international companies to award contracts to the airport. Outsourcing of Islamabad Airport is the first phase of this plan.
