My recommendation should not be accepted in the selection of players: Mohsin Naqvi
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Naqvi had a detailed discussion with PCB officials on the selection of players for the training and fitness camp in connection with the New Zealand cricket team’s visit to Pakistan.
The names of the players were considered for in which Mohsin Naqvi gave special instructions for the selection of players on merit and performance.
Meanwhile, Chief Selector Wahab Riaz also submitted a report to the Chairman about the batsmen and bowlers who performed well in PSL 9.
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi issued further instructions saying that in PSL 9 The best performing players should be included in the camp, my recommendation in the selection of players for the camp should not be accepted.
He said that only the players selected on merit and performance are capable of giving good results.
