In Libya, the Eid Moon becomes bone of contention, Ramadan can be 28 days
The first fast in Libya was on March 12 and today, on the 28th, a meeting is being held to see the Eid moon. Due to the differences on the moon of Ramadan in Libya, now the possibility of the moon of Eid al-Fitr is visible on 28 Ramadan.
According to Arab media, this time Ramadan may be 28 days instead of 29 or 30 in Libya. And if it happens, it will be a historic and incredible event, which will happen due to a mistake in the sighting of the crescent of Ramadan.
Let us tell you that from the beginning, there was a dispute over the sighting of the Ramadan moon in Libya. And testimonies were presented from both sides on this issue.
On the basis of which the Royat e Hilal Committee announced the first fast on March 12. On the other hand, the first fast was on March 11 in all Arab countries.
However, unlike its neighbouring countries, Libya announced March 12 as the first day of fasting. According to which, today is the 28th Ramadan.
And experts are showing the possibility of seeing the moon of Eid-ul-Fitr today due to the complicated situation, the government has issued a fatwa to sight the moon of Eid-ul-Fitr on 28th of Ramadan.
And it has instructed the Royat-e-Hilal committees to see the moon of Eid-ul-Fitr today (28th of Ramadan). If the moon is visible today. So, the next day will be Eid-ul-Fitr, which means that Libyans will be able to keep 28 fasts of Ramadan.
However, they will have to keep one day later as Qaza to complete the count. One point is understandable for those countries whose condition is not good or not.
There is a tendency to waste time and wealth. It is there that such small problems like the appearance of the crescent come up as a mountain. And such nations seem to be wasting time in pointless discussions and debates day and night.
