Due to the outbreak of diarrhea in Karachi, hundreds of cases were reported daily in government hospitals.
According to details, 4,500 cases of diarrhea were reported in Jinnah Hospital from January to April 1.
April is seeing an increase in diarrhea cases, contaminated water and unhealthy food are causing diarrhea, the number of cases is increasing with each passing day, some patients are suffering from dehydration and salt deficiency. Worryingly, several patients have died during treatment.
Dr. Irfan Siddiqui, in-charge of accident department of Jinnah Hospital, says that the cases of diarrhea are increasing due to contaminated water and substandard food.
Dr. Irfan Siddiqui further says that citizens should use boiled water and healthy food, maximum use of water will reduce the severity of the disease.
