In the reference related to Tosha Khana vehicles, NAB requested to acquit Nawaz Sharif from the reference. NAB has submitted a report on the implementation of the court orders related to the investigation involving the former prime minister.
The reference regarding Tosha Khana vehicles is under hearing in the Accountability Court Islamabad.
According to the NAB report, the Saudi government gifted the vehicle to the then prime minister in 1997.
According to the report, in 2008, the then Prime Minister Yusuf Gilani offered Nawaz Sharif to buy a car, Nawaz Sharif bought the car not from Tosha Khana but from the Federal Transport Pool.
The NAB report also said that Nawaz Sharif did not pay the price of the car from a fake bank account. The report said that the court can acquit Nawaz Sharif from the Tosha Khana reference.
