The Bureau of Statistics released the report on the production of major industries
In the eight months of the current fiscal year, production of major industries fell by 0.51 percent, according to the Bureau of Statistics, which increased by 0.06 percent in February 2024 compared to February 2023.
In the eight months, food production recorded an increase of 0.46 percent, tobacco production decreased by 0.80 percent and textile production decreased by 1.75 percent.
Garments production increased by 0.46%, petroleum products by 0.24%, pharmaceuticals by 1.21%, iron and steel production by 0.05%, automobile industry by 1.14%. A percentage decrease was recorded.
