Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman will take oath as the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan this evening

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, the newly elected Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, will take oath today in Mansoora, Lahore.

Qaiser Sharif, the spokesperson of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, said this in a statement issued.

Spokesperson of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Qaiser Sharif says that Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has been elected as the sixth Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan.

He said that the meeting of the central council under the chairmanship of Hafiz Naeemur Rehman will be held tonight. It should be clear that Syed Abul Ala Maududi was the founder and the first Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan.

After Maulana Maududi, Mian Tufail Muhammad, Qazi Hussain Ahmed, Syed Manwar Hasan and Sirajul Haq have been the Amirs of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan.
