2 important milestones have been achieved in the restructuring of national airline PIA.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Privatization, the shareholders and creditors of PIA approved the circular scheme in the SECP.
The announcement said that as part of the privatization process, the federal cabinet had approved the demerger and restructuring of PIA.
According to the announcement, a scheme of arrangement was filed with the SECP on March 28, 2024, subject to the approval of the shareholders and creditors of Copy IA.
