There is a possibility of gusty winds and thundershowers in Punjab from today till April 29.
According to the PDMA spokesperson, there are chances of hailstorm in a few places, the district emergency operation centers of all the districts have been alerted, while the relevant departments have been alerted to deal with the emergency situation.
In this regard, Provincial Disaster Management Authority KDG Irfan Ali Kathia has directed the deputy commissioners across the province to be alert, the district emergency operation centers of all districts have also been alerted, the situation is being monitored 24 hours a day in the PDMA control room.
DGMA says that citizens should stay away from electric poles and hanging wires, stay in safe places to avoid lightning, never go under the open sky during lightning and stormy conditions. On the other hand, the spokesperson of PDMA said that Citizens can call PDMA’s helpline 1129 for assistance.
