The captain of the national cricket team, Babar Azam, was awarded a valuable gift by the owner of Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi, for his excellent performance in the season 9 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Javed Afridi has shared some new pictures on photo and video sharing app Instagram in which he can be seen gifting Babar Azam an expensive car.
While sharing these pictures, he wrote in the caption that this MG car is for Babar Azam.
Babar Azam was the highest run-scorer in PSL season 9, scoring 569 runs in 11 innings at an average of 56.90 with five half-centuries and one century.
Peshawar Zalmi were hot favorites to win the tournament but lost both their knockout matches against Multan Sultans and Islamabad United respectively.
