ISLAMABAD: Preparations to send Pakistan’s first satellite mission to the moon have been completed.

According to the report, the member of the core committee of the Institute of Space Technology Dr. Khurram Khurshid says that on May 3 at 12:50 PM, Pakistan’s first satellite mission will be sent to the moon.

He said that the mission will be launched from China’s Hainan Space Launch Site.

Dr Khurram Khurshid says that the launch of the satellite icube will be telecast live from the website. He said that iCube Qamar has been designed and developed in collaboration with China and Sparco. Two cameras are installed in iCube Qamar to take pictures of the moon.

Dr. Khurram Khurshid said that Pakistan’s satellite mission will orbit the moon and the images taken from this mission will be useful for research purposes. He said that the weight of Pakistan’s satellite will be seven kilograms.
