JUI rally in Karachi without permission

KARACHI: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam set up a stage for a rally at New MA Jinnah Road without the permission of the administration.

On the report of SSP Zilla Sharqi, an order was issued by the Deputy Commissioner Sharqi, according to which the Commissioner Karachi did not give permission to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam to hold a meeting.

According to the report, in view of the recent terrorist incidents, no large public gathering is allowed. On the other hand, even if the meeting is not allowed, the traffic police has given a plan for alternative routes.

It should be noted that the JUI held a general meeting against the alleged rigging in the elections and named it ‘People’s Assembly’. The arrangements are complete, the stage is decorated.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman will address the rally and JUI chief has reached Karachi.
