All Karachi Malik Retailers Welfare Association has given an indication of increase in milk prices, President Karachi Mubasher Qadeer Abbasi has said that an increase of 50 rupees per liter in the price of milk is expected very soon.
According to the Malik Retailers Welfare Association, the price per liter of milk will increase due to increasing production cost of milk, increasing cost of livestock and low production per animal and government inattention.
He said that it is necessary that the Commissioner Karachi should immediately issue a notification of new prices according to the production cost of milk, otherwise the stakeholders will automatically increase the prices after consultation from May 10.
