President Asif Ali Zardari approved the appointment of governors of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
The President approved the appointment of Sardar Saleem Haider Khan as the Governor of Punjab, Faisal Karim Kundi as the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Jafar Khan Mandukhel as the Governor of Balochistan.
Asif Zardari approved the appointment of governors under Article 101 (a) of the Constitution.
On the other hand, People’s Party nominated Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi will take oath of office today. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at Governor House Peshawar at 4 pm, invitations have been sent to the guests to attend the ceremony.
It should be noted that the Chairman of People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif yesterday. In which Bilawal Bhutto proposed to appoint Sardar Salim as Governor of Punjab, Faisal Karim Kundi as Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which was agreed by the Prime Minister.
