In Lahore, flour and sugar at utility stores have become more expensive than the open market. Despite the reduction in the price of wheat at the government level, the price of flour at utility stores is higher than the general market.

A bag of 20 kg flour is not available at utility stores, while a bag of 10 kg flour is available for Rs 1380.

In the utility stores, ten kilos of flour is getting Rs 380 more expensive than the open market, a bag of ten kilos of flour is being sold for Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,100 in the open market.

Sugar is also being sold more expensive than the open market at utility stores, the price of sugar per kg in the open market is Rs 145.

Sugar at utility stores is being sold Rs 10 more than the general market, sugar is being sold at Rs 155 per kg at stores.
