NASA plans to build a modern railway system on the moon.

Washington: The US space agency NASA has started funding for the project to build an advanced ‘railway’ on the moon and to transport humans and equipment to Mars.

John Nelson, the agency’s special representative and NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC) program executive at NASA headquarters in Washington, said NASA will work on projects that sound like science fiction, according to media reports.

He said that although there is no guarantee that they will be implemented soon, it is possible that it will become a reality someday in the future. These plans include a modern railway system on the moon, based on liquid Includes telescopes and transit systems to transport humans and equipment to Mars. These are among the projects that NASA’s NIAC program is receiving funding to continue research on.

The representative also said that there are a total of six projects, each of which has passed the preliminary stage of NIAC. Now in its second phase, the project will raise $600,000 over the next two years for further research.

“Our NIAC staff continues to come up with some surprising and exciting ideas, and these projects certainly keep NASA thinking about future possibilities,” said John Nelson.
