The Islamabad High Court has accepted the request of former Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi to be transferred to hospital or to declare the house as a sub-jail.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir delivered a reserved decision on the request of Parvez Elahi’s wife Qaisara Elahi and said that the Ministry of Interior should complete the procedure of house arrest of Pervez Elahi within 15 days.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir said that Pervez Elahi is 78 years old, also look at the issue related to treatment.
It should be remembered that on May 2, the Islamabad High Court had reserved its decision on the petition against the transfer of Parvez Elahi from Adiala Jail to Lahore. On the previous hearing, the Islamabad High Court had ordered the medical board of Pims Hospital to transfer former Chief Minister Punjab Pervez Elahi. had ordered to re-evaluate his health.
