Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department has issued guidelines for free medical screening of senior citizens. Provincial Health Department has issued a letter to all government hospitals.
In which it was directed that free medical screening of senior citizens should be done in government hospitals.
In the letter, the health department directed that free screening should be done for citizens aged 65 years and above.
The letter also said that ultrasound, laboratory tests, CT scan, MRI and other facilities should be provided free of cost to the senior citizens.
