President Asif Ali Zardari says that the problems of Balochistan should be resolved through political negotiations. The development and prosperity of the province is the first priority of the government. By making Balochistan prosperous, they will play an effective role for the stability of Pakistan.
Addressing the dinner of Chief Minister Balochistan in Quetta, the President further said that the eighteenth constitutional amendment was passed during our time, which benefited all the provinces. I am trying to do more work for the development of Balochistan and the people here.
Asif Ali Zardari said that he will try to increase the agricultural production by irrigating the barren lands of the province. Benazir is also trying to expand the Income Support Program.
Earlier, Asif Ali Zardari reached Quetta on his first visit to Balochistan after assuming the office of President, and was welcomed by the Governor, Chief Minister and other senior officials. Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and provincial ministers met the President and briefed on the law and order situation in the province.
Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Sadiq Imrani, Ali Madad Jatak, Zahoor Bilidi, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Mir Salim Khosa, Faisal Jamali and Ghazala Gola were included in the meeting with the President.
