Accountability Court Islamabad Judge Nasir Javed Rana heard the Tosha Khana vehicle reference against President Asif Zardari, former Prime Ministers Nawaz Sharif and Yousuf Raza Gilani.

Advocate Arshad Tabreez on behalf of President Asif Zardari, while Nawaz Sharif’s pleader Rana Muhammad Irfan appeared in the court, on this occasion, an acquittal application was filed on behalf of Nawaz Sharif in the Tosha Khana vehicle reference.

Judge Nasir Javed Rana remarked that notices are issued to the parties on the plea of ​​acquittal, on which the NAB prosecutor said that the petition for acquittal will be sent to the NAB headquarters, give a short notice.

The court called arguments on Nawaz Sharif’s acquittal plea on May 23. During the hearing, former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani filed a request for exemption from attendance, which was accepted by the court.

Lawyer Arshad Tabriz told the court that President Zardari has presidential immunity and the case cannot proceed to his extent, to which the NAB prosecutor said that the request regarding presidential immunity has been received and is being reviewed. Later, the court adjourned the hearing on the reference related to Tosha Khana vehicles.

It should be noted that on April 17, NAB had given a clean chit to Nawaz Sharif in the reference related to Tosha Khana’s vehicles. Acquit the case.
