Azlan Shah Hockey Cup, Pakistan beat Canada by 5 goals to 4.
In the ongoing Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in Malaysia, Pakistan also defeated Canada in their fourth match. Thus, Pakistan are unbeaten in the tournament so far with one draw.
In the match against Canada, Pakistan’s Abu Bakr Mehmood, Liaqat Arshad, Rana Waheed Ashraf and Ali Ghazanfar scored goals. Undefeated in four matches, Pakistan came first on the points table.
Pakistan’s next match in the Azlan Shah Hockey Cup will be against New Zealand. Earlier, Pakistan hockey team has won matches against Japan, Malaysia and South Korea. Japan is second on the points table, host Malaysia is third and Canada is last.
