Jamaat-e-Islami announced a sit-in in front of the Chief Minister House Punjab.

Jamaat-e-Islami has decided to hold a sit-in outside the Punjab Chief Minister’s House over the wheat crisis. In the action plan committee meeting chaired by Liaquat Baloch, it has been decided to sit a sit-in outside the Punjab Chief Minister’s House.

According to Liaquat Baloch, workers of Jamaat-e-Islami and Kisan Board started preparations for sit-in.

Liaquat Baloch said that Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman will soon announce the date of sit-in with the farmers due to non-purchase of wheat in Punjab. Remember that on May 2, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said during a press conference. It was said that if the Punjab government does not withdraw its decision not to buy wheat from the farmers, it will announce a sit-in in front of the Chief Minister’s House.

He said that despite the presence of reserves and non-availability of dollars, the one billion dollar wheat import scam should be investigated by a judicial commission.
