The official price of wheat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been fixed at Rs 3900 per maund.
According to the details, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will buy 3 lakh metric tons of wheat from the farmers. Centers have been established at twenty-two places in the province for the purchase of wheat at the official level. CCTV cameras have been installed in the purchase centers and warehouses.
A fool-proof monitoring system including CCTV has been established. A special app has also been introduced for transparency, the provincial government has allocated 29 billion rupees for wheat.
