President Asif Ali Zardari got presidential immunity in Park Lane and Tosha Khana vehicle references.
Accountability Court judge Nasir Javed Rana issued a written decision on the requests for references of Park Lane and Tosha Khana vehicles, the court stopped the proceedings against the President.
In the written decision, it was said that as long as Asif Zardari is the president, the proceedings cannot go on, Asif Zardari sought presidential immunity under Article 248 (2), the prosecution neither objected nor opposed the requests.
In the decision, it was said that under the constitution, the case against the President of the country can be continued, the requests of Asif Zardari to get presidential immunity are approved.
