Director General of Meteorological Department Meher Sahibzad Khan said that more than normal rains will be recorded in Pakistan this year as well, which is likely to affect Sindh and Balochistan the most. Areas of South Punjab will also be affected by the heat wave.
Meteorologists have advised citizens to cover their heads and drink plenty of water to avoid heat waves.
