The Election Commission suspended the additional reserved seats in the assemblies, a notification of which was also issued.
According to the notification, 8 women members of National Assembly from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been suspended.
11 women members of the National Assembly have been suspended from the Punjab Assembly.
Apart from this, 21 specific women members and 4 members of minorities have also been suspended from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. These specific seats were additionally distributed among the PML-N, People’s Party and other parties.
