The prices of mobile phones have suddenly come down.
The prices of locally manufactured mobile phones in the country have been reduced by Rs 3,000 to Rs 18,000.
In this regard, dealers say that the prices of mobile phones have decreased due to the decrease in the value and price of imported phones.
According to the report, in the mobile markets, a mobile phone worth Rs 1 lakh has become Rs 65 thousand, a mobile phone costing Rs 64 thousand has become Rs 50 thousand, and a smartphone worth Rs 50 thousand has become Rs 35 to Rs 38 thousand.
On the other hand, Rizwan Irfan, leader of the Electronic Market Dealers Association, says that the reduction in prices will increase the demand for local mobile phones. Mobiles made in Pakistan neither cost dollars nor pay any duty like imported phones.
