Traffic signals installed for camels in Chinese desert

Having a traffic light in the desert seems incredible and even ridiculous, but China doesn’t think so. Regular traffic signals have been installed in one of its deserts.

Traffic signals have been installed to facilitate the movement of camels in a hot desert in China.

Camel riding in China’s Kumtag Desert is a popular pastime for which local authorities use traffic signals to avoid traffic jams.

In this regard, it is being told that during the month of May, riding camels and visiting Mangsha Mountains, a special area of the desert, is a favorite pastime of tourists.

Last year, on the first day of the annual holiday, more than 10,000 tourists came here to ride camels, while their number reached 20,000 a day in the past few days.

There were 2400 camels in the said area only for riding.
