Former Karachi Assistant Commissioner Hazim Bangwar attended the recent award ceremony where his fashion sense was criticized.
Hazim Bangwar is very popular on social media due to his choice of special clothes. Now former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry has also expressed his displeasure with Hazim Bangwar’s clothes in terms of his position.
The assistant commissioner also holds an LLB degree from the UK after graduating from AIU London with a degree in fashion design and marketing. He is also a singer and released his first single album in 2019 which was released in South Korea, A hit in Hungary, Egypt and India, followed by his second song Heil Ya and his first Urdu song in 2020 and 2021 respectively.
Hazim Bangwar shared the pictures on Instagram in which he wrote the caption, ‘Met Gala can’t be held in Pakistan but there is a lot of style here’.
However, Fawad Chaudhry did not particularly like this, on which he asked Hazem Bangwar on X (formerly Twitter) to respect his position and government office.
Fawad Chaudhry wrote Indian civil service was the first merit based bureaucracy in the modern world, the authors of Travellin’s report could never in their wildest dreams have imagined that this was happening in Pakistan, have some respect for the office you hold.
Apart from this, not only the former federal minister, but many social media users also criticized Hazim Bangwar’s attire. However, some users supported Hazim Bangwar and said that he can wear the fashion of his choice.
