Jamaat-e-Islami has announced “Haq du Kisan March” outside the Chief Minister’s House in Lahore today against the oppression of farmers.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab Muhammad Javed Kasuri said in a press conference that the Punjab government should not obstruct their protest march and sit-in.
Mohammad Javed Kasuri said that since the new government has come, one crisis after another is emerging, farmers are being exploited by buying wheat at exorbitant prices.
He said that the “Haqq Du Kisan March” will be a peaceful one in which farmers from cities across the province will participate. Until the government listens to the farmers, they will remain on the streets.
