Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Muzaffarabad today where he is expected to hold important meetings with the leaders of Azad Kashmir.
According to sources, the Prime Minister will visit the Neelum Jhelum project during his visit to Azad Kashmir. The Prime Minister will also be briefed on the recent protests and damage caused during the demonstrations in Azad Kashmir.
On this occasion, Shahbaz Sharif will also hold meetings with the political leaders of Azad Kashmir in Muzaffarabad. In meetings with political leaders, there is a possibility of discussing the situation of Azad Kashmir in the past days.
Sources say that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to have other important meetings.
It should be noted that the ongoing protest for the supply of cheap electricity and cheap flour in Azad Kashmir was ended for the last 3 days. During the protest, the angry protesters and the police came face to face, as a result of which 1 policeman was killed and 90 others were injured.
All business centers, offices and educational institutions were closed across Azad Kashmir due to the strike and protest.
